K Build Co. is a build + development company designed around a focused core and a trusted multidisciplinary network—assembling the right expertise around each project's specific needs.
Our foundation is deeply personal. K Build grew from generations of hands-on family construction experience and a shared belief that great projects are built through craftsmanship, trust, strong relationships, and the right people working together.
Rather than building a large fixed organization around every capability, K Build is designed to build teams around projects—bringing together builders, trades, designers, consultants, and specialists according to what each opportunity requires.
Alongside client projects, K Build is developing the capability to originate and advance projects of its own—bringing together ideas, expertise, partnerships, and resources to create places worth building.
Our flagship development concept, Soul Spa, represents the beginning of that vision.
Christine Khamphilavanh
With a background in architectural project management and real estate. Kim plays an essential role in the day-to-day operations of KBuildCo.
As David’s wife and the organizational backbone of the business, she oversees administrative coordination, client communication, scheduling, and project support — helping ensure each project moves forward with clarity, structure, and care.
Her experience within both the architectural and real estate industries brings an added layer of insight, organization, and professionalism to the KBuildCo experience.
Christine’s connection to the construction industry began at a young age, spending time on job sites alongside her uncle and brother, where she developed an early appreciation for craftsmanship, detail, and the process of transforming spaces from the ground up.
Today, alongside her role at K Build Co, Christine is the founder of
CVK Design & Branding and is currently pursuing studies in Real Estate Development at the Boston Architectural College.
At K Build Co, Christine supports the team through all design directions, helping bridge construction with aesthetics, flow, and overall environmental experience.
David began working in construction at just 13 years old alongside his uncle, where he learned the fundamentals of craftsmanship, discipline, and quality workmanship from the ground up.
Over the years, he expanded into large-scale residential and commercial development projects, eventually becoming a site supervisor overseeing crews, timelines, and complex construction operations.
After years in the industry, David launched his own company and has now been independently operating for over 15 years — leading projects ranging from residential renovations and custom decks to structural transformations and outdoor living environments. Independently, he's earned himself 5 stars on Thumback due to his approach which blends hands-on experience, leadership, and a deep respect for doing things the right way.
