K Build Co. is a family-built construction company rooted in craftsmanship, experience, and generations of hands-on building knowledge.
What began decades ago through family construction work evolved into a shared passion for creating spaces that are functional, lasting, and thoughtfully built.
Christine Khamphilavanh
With a background in architectural project management and real estate. Kim plays an essential role in the day-to-day operations of KBuildCo.
As David’s wife and the organizational backbone of the business, she oversees administrative coordination, client communication, scheduling, and project support — helping ensure each project moves forward with clarity, structure, and care.
Her experience within both the architectural and real estate industries brings an added layer of insight, organization, and professionalism to the KBuildCo experience.
Christine’s connection to the construction industry began at a young age, spending time on job sites alongside her uncle and brother, where she developed an early appreciation for craftsmanship, detail, and the process of transforming spaces from the ground up.
Today, alongside her role at K Build Co, Christine is the founder of
CVK Design & Branding and is currently pursuing studies in Landscape Architecture at the Boston Architectural College.
At K Build Co, Christine supports the team through interior and landscape design direction, helping bridge construction with aesthetics, flow, and overall environmental experience.
David began working in construction at just 13 years old alongside his uncle, where he learned the fundamentals of craftsmanship, discipline, and quality workmanship from the ground up.
Over the years, he expanded into large-scale residential and commercial development projects, eventually becoming a site supervisor overseeing crews, timelines, and complex construction operations.
After years in the industry, David launched his own company and has now been independently operating for over 15 years — leading projects ranging from residential renovations and custom decks to structural transformations and outdoor living environments. Independently, he's earned himself 5 stars on Thumback due to his approach which blends hands-on experience, leadership, and a deep respect for doing things the right way.
